Nancy White is buried in Union Campground Cemetery.  This is verified by the following newspaper  account:

Springfield, Missouri Republican, August 19, 1899.     

 “Mrs. Nancy White died Thursday, aged 74 year, and was buried yesterday at Union Camp Ground          Cemetery.”   (Note:  This places her birth year around 1825)

 Her tombstone is missing. The Springfield Land Office Sales Book (1833-1892) has a number of properties owned by individuals with the name of White.  A few of the properties are not to far from the cemetery.  However, since the first name of Nancy’s husband is unknown, we cannot determine any ownership of land.     

It is frustrating when so little information is available about a burial in the cemetery.  Perhaps one day someone will be able to furnish more details.
